Mace Gosnell is the Sous Chef at The Kingstide in Charleston, South Carolina, bringing more than a decade of culinary experience in the local restaurant scene. A Charleston native, Gosnell has built his career working in high-volume kitchens across the city, developing a strong foundation in Southern cuisine and seafood. He trained under Executive Chef Steven Harmon and with Glowfisch Hospitality before joining The Indigo Road Hospitality Group as Sous Chef at Mercantile and Mash. After a year and a half in that role, he transitioned to The Kingstide, where he continues to focus on thoughtfully prepared, ingredient-driven dishes. Gosnell works closely with local purveyors to highlight fresh seafood and regional produce, reflecting both his deep ties to the Charleston community and his commitment to delivering honest, flavorful food to guests.
